RACC presents the itinerary of the global test of Catalan in Madrid, Barcelona and Tarragona

Tarragona. Costa Dorada. RACC Automobile Club has announced, with three presentations in Madrid, Barcelona and Tarragona, the new concept of distance that characterize the RallyRACC Catalunya-Costa Daurada, Spain Rally 2010, which will be held from 22 to 24 October and will penultimate event of the World Championships, also scored for the J-WRC and the cup for single brand Fiesta Sport Trophy.

The RallyRACC remains a test of asphalt but will include a mixed first day with two stretches of asphalt and other land-only land. This will force the teams to leave the race with a mount with specifications for the earth and the end of the day, to adapt the car to the tarmac.

 

Novelties
The route of this 2010 edition has many new features. The novelty begins in the first tranche of evidence or Shakedown. The RACC moves this section test (Thursday 21) in Salou, in a location very close to PortAventura park attendance. Be three kilometers of combined land-surface asphalt, completely adapted to the new features of the rally. The remaining sections of the second (three different) and third day (2) are all asphalt.

Everything indicates that the rally will not be decided until the final day, which will be formed only by two bands, the longer the test, with more than 42 km be ruling, and the shortest of 4 1 km. Both will run it twice.

In total, the rally consists of eight different sections that will be repeated twice each. The route which is 1,275.78 km time trial will be 354.92.
