Cambrils begins the summer with the Sea Festival

Cambrils. Costa Dorada. With the idea of renovating the schedule of summer shows, the Department of local festivals premieres with the Sea Festival, a fresh and festive programming, to present shows and small concerts, both emerging artists and musicians more consolidated. Shows and music that is our home, a land bathed by the Mediterranean, the cradle of our culture, born of meetings, exchanges, and mixtures mestissatges.
 

This is the project's main goal: to enter the sea and sail to the Mediterranean cultural diversity of their land and water beyond.
The name chosen for this new project, THE SEA FESTIVAL, based on the double sense of its meaning: the Sea Festival and Become the sea.
 

On the one hand, the Sea Festival, namely party around the sea. The location of Cambrils coastal town by the sea and therefore offer id'escenari street shows with a fresh and festive, Friday, the promenade, and Paseo de las Palmeras Pinaret park and two neighborhood Wednesday old.

On the other, Join the Sea. Going to sea, towards new horizons, through small-scale concert stage. Music made by people from home, our land is opened to other cultures and new worlds, whether in or beyond the Mediterranean, which is what characterizes us. Music every Thursday, mostly in the park and the Fisherman's Park Pinaret.

As viewers of shows offered for people from home to home and the people we visit. We want to reach people who live here, who stroll, those in Cambrils at that time. Have a meeting point, disconnection from work, spend a pleasant time; also face those who visit us, they can learn through music and entertainment, our spirit and way of being both Mediterranean.

The programming is reduced by what is the dates, and concentrates between 23 July and 20 August, to be decoupled from the festivals of St. Peter (June) and the Way (September), although we begin this journey in the Mediterranean Sea once the feast of the Virgin of Carmen with the singing of popular Habanera and sea procession.

On Thursday, remains day to show in small format and venue will be designed to embrace the Friday street shows how much traveling stage. One Wednesday in July and August will color the streets of the old.
